Yay..Oscar is back!
Last night's 82nd Academy Awards show hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin was imo the best presentation of the annual offering in a very long time. It just goes to show how the magic machine should stick to its tradition of glamour and entertainment. The academy also imo sent a very clear message that is NOT money that depicts the value of art. And Avatar is apparently not how the industry wants to represent. Leave the CGI to gaming? Or reward the spoils of War? Anyone see Hurt Locker yet?
